Hornet | 6.0 | Clearly a very high production value, with gorgeous art and a stellar soundtrack. However, it is a VERY short story that does not manage to flesh out its characters nearly enough. What could have been some excellently emotional moments did not live up anywhere near to their full potential due to that lack of time I was given to grow close to any of the characters. Also, the art, while clearly very high quality, feels kind of uninspired and bland. I WAS emotionally hit by this game, I just feel like it blew its load too soon, and it had the potential to be so much more if the budget was allocated a bit more to the story instead of the (very impressive) 1000 images. | 4.6 | 2021-03-10 | |
